Philosophy & Approach
I believe our past experiences shape how we see, feel, and interact with the world. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, parenting stress, anxiety, or life transitions, I provide a safe and supportive space to explore patterns, gain insight, and build new tools for growth. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in evidence-informed practices such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Education & Training
I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from George Fox University and have completed extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), trauma-informed care, and parent/child support. With over 2,000 direct client hours, my work is shaped by years of experience in both community mental health and private practice.
Selected Trainings/Certifications:
Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (Core & Advanced)
EFT: Couples in Crisis
EFT Workshop Assistant
Parent Support Group Facilitator
Child-Centered Play Therapy
Childhood Trauma Training (Eliana Gil, Ph.D.)
Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT 2.0)
I also facilitate parent support groups and workshops focused on communication, connection, and relationship skills.
Outside the Office
When I’m not with clients, I’m happiest outdoors — hiking, camping, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with my family. I’m also a big fan of yoga, running, and mystery novels. As a mom of two kids, much of my life outside of work includes board games, Lego towers, and plenty of sports.
